Townsville City Heritage Day – 16 May 2010
Learn about the heritage of North Queensland’s largest city with guided tours of the West End Cemetery, displays and stalls displaying family histories, local museums, historic photos, burial registers, historic vehicles and access to National Heritage Trust houses on Castling Street. Entertainment includes music, jumping castle, sheep shearing, face painting, indigenous ceremonies and food tasting in West End Park, with traditional food and drink available.
